The Anglo Boer War (ABW) Monument focuses on the struggle for freedom and justice of the Cape Afrikaners and other colonists who were supportive or sympathetic to the Boers in the Transvaal and Free State Republics during the Anglo Boer War (1899-1902).

The Huguenot Gedenkskool was initiated in 1883 by the Afrikaans community in Dal Josafat and Klein Drakenstein to make sure that their children could be educated in Afrikaans, their mother tongue. Some of South Africa’s greatest poets, authors, scientists and linguists were educated here.

Bayede! An eclectic crafts project (wines, beadwork, handbags, linen shirts, bed linen, soaps etc.) to sustain crafters from local communities and established community projects.
