Built in 1929 to reflect the spirit of 18th century Venice, Casa Labia is the former Muizenberg residence of Count and Countess Natale Labia.

Following a complete two-year restoration by the family, this much-lovednational monument was re-opened to the public on 5 May 2010 as an exquisite multi-functional cultural centre. Available for hire as an up-market venue, Casa Labia is home to a contemporary South African art gallery, an uber-stylish Africanova boutique as well as a celebrated Italian café byJudy Badenhorst. Casa Labia is open to the public and available for tours, cultural events, art exhibitions and private events; from intimate dinner parties and lectures to weddings and banquets for up to 200 guests.

Visitors can enjoy seasonal programmes of events including lectures, art classes, workshops for children and adults, music concerts, poetry readings and book launches. This elegant house has once again realised its position atthe heart of Cape Town’s social scene. Casa Labia Café 021 788 6062
