The Didima San Art Centre provides an opportunity to learn about the rich cultural heritage for which these surrounding mountains are famous. A visit to the centre leads the visitor on a journey of discovery, using the significance of the eland in San Art culture as a theme that threads its way through the experience. The uniquely styled Didima auditorium seats almost 100 visitors before a life size replica of a Clarens sandstone overhang. This forms an inspiring backdrop for the “Valley of the Eland” multimedia show, which makes stunning use of a full range of light, sound and sensory effects to maximise the impact of the show.
