Goudkoppie Heritage Hill is situated on the hill along the N12 TreasureRoute. Ripples in the landscape caused by the Vredefort meteoritecaused a series of hills, and Klerksdorp lies well within the influence ofthe meteorite impact, therefore the hill at Goudkoppie is a direct resultof the meteorite.
