The Shangaan River Club welcomes everyone to the festivities under the thatched boma where extraordinary entertainment together with magnificent food form a feast, in the true sense of the word. Hippo Hollow Country Estate has joined forces with the local community to provide an enchanting feast blended with history and entertainment. The singing and dancing is provided by children from the local orphanage and the Ronaldsi Youth Cultural Traditional Dancers.

With each song, the local chief narrates a song or proverb from tribal legend. The boma can accommodate over 175 people and with a ‘feast of culture’ that awaits, it’s sure to satisfy even the most savage of hungers. Served from traditional cast-iron pots, the buffet consists of local dishes.
