"Ikhwezi" ("morning star," in Xhosa) Community Centre, a nongovernmental organisation provides groups of (Mbekweni) women the opportunity to manufacture a wide array of products such as embroidery, woven rugs, clothing, cushion covers, fabric painting, candles, wire work and beadwork.
The Museum van de Caab is housed in an 18th Century wine cellar
on the 320-year-old Solms-Delta wine estate in Franschhoek. The

through the individual people who lived and worked on the farm, from
its pre-historic past to the present – through colonialism, slavery and
apartheid.
